Good evening, everyone, For the past 13 years I have researched Franklin Cook who died 1870 in Henderson County, his 15 children and their descendants. My husband is the 6th generation of Cooks to have lived in Henderson County so there are many maternal lines to work on as well. The maternal surnames are McDougal, Starr, Darby, Miles, Richmond. The collateral surnames are too many to list here but I think half the people who ever set foot in Henderson Co. are kin! I'm looking for information on the family of Clarence Ezekiel Weatherford who married Georgia Vienna Gartman. I'm not sure of the year, but both were native to Henderson County in the Athens area. The Gartmans have done a family history, but the Weatherfords haven't to my knowledge. They were my paternal grandparents. Clarence was the son of William Weatherford, name of his mother is unknown to me. He had several brothers and sisters. Clarence died in 1985, I believe. Any assistance would be a help.
