Services were held at 2:30 o'clock from the Leagueville Church with the Rev. A. E. LOCKE, the Rev. Riley DALE, the Rev. Lafe SMALLWOOD, the Rev. Joe JIMMERSON and the Rev. T. L. SLIMP officiating. Interment was in the Leagueville Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers and HASSEL and FOSTER of Athens was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. TINDEL was born in Arkansas and had been living near LaRue for the past 68 years. She was married to John B. TINDEL of Leagueville Community in 1886. He preceded her in death April 1, 1940. She was a member of the Brownsboro Baptist Church. Mrs. TINDEL is survived by a son, W. C. TINDEL of Brownsboro; five daughters, Mrs. Donnie CUMBIE, of Athens, Mrs. Jewell HARRISON of Brownsboro, Mrs. Jack INGRAM of San Diego, California, Mrs. Bess WELLS of Fort Worth, and Mrs. Chloe FOSTER of route one, LaRue; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Carrie CUMBIE of Floydada, 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
