My grandad was James Younger Mc Manus, the other siblings of Louisa , were Soloman, John R. and Frank. The sisters were Susan E. ,who; married Robert Brown, Lucy R. who married George H. Stone. THIS NANCY C. You mentioned that ,She was called Allie, Married Johnny Etheridge. had a brother shown on the 1870 Census as James L. Green ,6 years old. Did he live to manhood?? Also I show James J. Green as a son of Shadrick W. Green,?? Is this the same Shadrick W. Green, that ran a grist mill ?? They are shown living with him on the 1870 Henderson County,Tx, Census on page 277. I guess that James J. Green had passed by then. Was he killed in the Civil War.?? I try to get to Athens at least once a year, I do hope you live in the area, as I so want to meet you.
