Surnames: Kirkland, Parker, Hatton Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4kB.2ACI/1867 Message Board Post: Among my mom's Dottie Parker Lewis notes I find a reference to this Kirkland family living near Opelika next door to Isaac Hatton he was a school teacher and an expert in penmanship. This would be in the 1890 to 1900 time peroid. I would like a bit more information on this family if any one has or knows of any. I looked in the Kirkland Book in the Tyler Library but did not fine these names. Isaac Hatton was born in 1866 but I do not have dates on James Kirkland.
