She was born in Henderson Co.,TX,Nov.1871. Her mother was Evaline Chambers and her father was an Avant. There is some confusion in our family over his first name. Some called him Luther,others Nathan, and online I have seen Crawford. With Evaline he had Dora and Mary(Mollie). He died in 1879 when Dora was 8 years old.Evaline remarried Henry J.Williams and had 5 more children-Annie,Alice,Oscar,Byron,and Florence. Dora Belle married John Franklin Wood and moved to Rusk Co.,Evaline and Henry Williams moved there too. Any information about Dora's father would be appreciated. Thanks, Debra
