    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4kB.2ACI/1890.1.1.1 Message Board Post: My mom Dottie Parker Lewis wrote the history of this small east Texas town "Brownsboro Remembered" while she died last year, her obit took up half of the front page of the paper. Copies are available on request from my dad lewiswdl@earthlink.net or they are available at Piggies Resturant in town and may soon be available from the Statesman newspaper. She also wrote several other books on that area and half a dozen books on some of the pioneer families of the area. He would probably make copies of any thing she wrote. The Henderson County Genweb has some information posted. The Jr College in Athens has the back issues of the Athens paper. The Brownsboro Statesman paper does not keep back issues. So Obits for this area are sometimes dificult to locate. Usually a request to this list with a name and date will get a response if the information is known. The Athens newspaper has been abstracted and there are many obits included I do not remember the title but it is in many area libraries. I have some obits and newspaper articles on people from the community but it is only a small portion. Bill Lewis
