William E. Martin, bl861 and his brother, Cernal E. S. Martin, bl858 in Alabama married Lightfoot girls from Henderson Co in the early l880s and settled in Kaufman Co. I believe other members of the Martin family also settled there. These Martins came from Dale Co Ala by l870 to Freestone Co Tx and then moved to Kaufman....other Martins are missing at this time.
