Here is the web site for Texas History on line: http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/articles/BB/hnb71.html that gives some history of the community. We were raised in that area, and know a little of the history. The Bradford family moved to Palestine and ran a grocery store. Some of the people from Springfield; which was the community just to the west, may have stayed with the Bradford family and went to a teachers school. Possibly we may have a pictures with some of the Bradford family in the group. Reply to me directly, and we will see what we can find. Thanks.
