A Richmond McManus of Ellisville Jones Co. (orig. SC) moved to that area of TX. He had a SC sister named Arzilla "Arzy" who never left SC. He named a dau after her. The dau md, named her child Arzy and then both Arzys, mother and dau , died soon after and are buried near Lufkin. I think the Henderson McManuses started with Joab who is a descendant of the Lawrence McManus/Cattrol MCCollin line of NC - TN - etc. I don't think my line in SC connects w/ Lawrences and wanted to let you know about the name "Arzy" and that it is found in both separate lines.
