    3. I looked up in the Index of the Athens Weekly Review Newspapers 1900-1950 and found the following entries that might be your family. There are quite a few for other Rounsavall names and a few other Reddings. I did not find any for a Joseph or John Redding or an Isaac Rounsavall: (the pg reference is for the bound book that has copies of the newspaper, it is not the page of the actual newspaper) There were only two entries for Mary Rounsavall, they were so cute I just had to send them. 20 Dec 1928, pg 77 Weekly Edition of the Athens Daily Review, Henderson County, Texas "Letters to Santa" Dear Santa Claus, I am a little girl six years old. I wish you would bring me a mama doll, a doll bed, some fruit, candy, nuts and fire crackers and please Santa don't forget little sister and grandma and grand daddy. Your little girl, Mary Audra Rounsvall 19 Dec 1929, pg 77 Weekly Edition of the Athens Daily Review, Henderson County, Texas "Letter to Santa" Dear Santa Clause, I am a little girl seven years old. I am just as good as I can be. I help mother and daddy. Please bring me a doll, doll bed, little dresser, candy, cocoanut and some apples and oranges. Your little girl, Mary Audra Rounsaval (only one "L") 19 Feb 1925, pg 51 Weekly Edition of the Athens Daily Review, Henderson County, Texas James Monroe Redding was born Jan 18, 1869 and was first married to Alice Calhoun. To this union five children were born, four still surviving. His first wife died in Oct 1909. On March 15, 1914 he married Miss Ione Donnehue. To the second union, six children were born, five surviving. Mr. Redding was a kind friend and a good neighbor and loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all his neighbors and friends, as well as by his devoted wife and children who mourn a kind husband and loving father. Mr. Redding, while not a member of any church, was a believer in the Methodist faith. He was convalescent from a spell of flue, when stricken suddenly Friday afternoon, Feb 6th with acute pneumonia and dying Sunday morning Feb 8th. Bro. Garrett, the Methodist pastor at Frankston held the funeral services and he was laid to rest in the Poynor Cemetery, Monday at 11 o'clock, surrounded by ahost of relatives and friends. May the God of the widow and the fatherless children comfort his loved ones left behind. END Hope this helps.
