Hi Brenda, Dawson is in Navarro County, West of Henderson CO on highway 31... You didn't say what date, so at the time of the documents, it could have listed Henderson as county instead of Navarro.....hope this helps. Of course, on the other hand there may have been a town onced called Dawson in Henderson CO...I don't know for sure.
