Hi Janice, Maybe your sisters remember my cousins (Yvonne Bateman/Alton Bateman). They were pretty young back then but they went to gradeschool in Dawson. I believe my older brother (Coan Bateman) also went to gradeschool in Dawson (1946-1948 I think). I am researching: Bateman, Denton, Boone/Boon, Fortner, Dill, Lockwood from Henderson, Kaufman, Navarro and Van Zandt counties. Nice hearing from you. Good luck with your research.
