Not even sure of exact spelling of his first name. Could be: Mac Ewen, McEuwen, Mack Ewen, etc. He was born in Tyler, Texas (Henderson County) on 21 Apr 1850. Per Oklahoma census records, his father was born in Georgia and mother in Alabama. Don't have names for either of them. McEwen married Ethel Candace Hoyle, from Osark, Arkansas, estimated 1892 - 1893. He moved to Norman, Oklahoma by 24 May 1893 when his first child was born. 1910 Pontotoc County Oklahoma census shows him, wife and children living in Frisco, OK. 1900 may have been in Norman, OK area. Anyone with links to this family, or any hints on where to research on-line, I would appreciate any info you have. Thanks.
