Their son, Robert Lincoln Carter was born that year. They came to Tx from Henderson Co., Tenn abt 1879. Her maiden name was believed to be Litsy but some family members thought it might have been Washington. She was born in Georgia. If she was married to some one other than Mr. Carter and Mr. Gilliland, we are not aware of it.
