I am hoping that someone who has been around Henderson County, and more specifically Post Oak, can identify this person. My great-grandfather, Warren Randell Womack (1874-1945) married Myrtle Mae Davis in 1897. In the obituary for his brother, Charles Henry Womack, who died December 26, 1941, it says Charles was survived by his wife (no name given), a daughter, Miss Cecil Womack and one sister, Mrs. Cecil Keller of Greenville. I know his wife was Annie Davis, the sister of Myrtle Mae Davis Womack, but my mother, who would have been 14 at the time, thought Annie had died earlier and there were no children. Can anyone help me with any information about Annie Davis Womack or her daughter, Cecil Womack? I'd really appreciate it. Peggy [email protected]
