Jo Ann's Fleming line came from Pike County Alabama to Shelby County starting in 1869 I have not followed the family down yet seeing who married whom and who their children married. Presently I am really focused on updating the books my mom wrote on the family in the mid 60's. She and I were working on them together when she died in July this year. Hi: Happy Holidays to All. I am researching Wister Allen Smith, son of Henry Homer Smith. He lived and worked in Henderson from about 1945. He was residing in the Highland Park Nursing Home in Athens when he passed away on Jan. 1, 1990. Any info from anyone who may have known my Uncle Wister will be appreciated. People called him "Slim" because he was so extremely tall. Wister Allen Smith b. 1905 in Corsicana, Texas d. Jan. 1, 1990 in Athens, Texas.
