Yes, they are buried in Chandler Cemetery. They are the only Wilsons listed in the book I have that was transcribed in 2000. Here is what they have: HERBERT GUY WILSON Sept. 28, 1897 - Apr. 6, 1934 ELLA MAE WILSON Oct. 19, 1906 (no death date as of 2000) Herbert is buried in Lot 232, Section B. Debbie

What these and other records reveal will be addressed. John Sellers is a fifth generation native to Hopkins County, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in advertising/public relations and received his teaching certificate in history from Texas A&M at Commerce. He is a graduate of the Samford University, Advanced Methodology Course. He compiled an addendum to the l850 Hopkins County Census and is the author of a historical newspaper article, Hopkins County Remembered. John is a frequent speaker at society meetings across the state. He has a well-earned reputation as an outstanding speaker. If this is the large green book it mostly covers major news and important obits it reduces 30,000 or more pages of a newspaper to a book of pages 1/4 the size of the newspaper and around 600 pages in length. I have many obits from The Athens college microfilm that are not in the book. Actual newspapers from before 1950 and after 1880 would crumble when touched the few I have are in clear protectors with specially buffered paper to slow the breakdown of the paper due to acids that are a part of the paper itself. I know that Ancestry.com shows the 1910 census of this same family as being "Ennie" Pennington widowed with Newt, Gomer and Jessie still in the home along with Bennie. Ennie, which was probably Annie, Georgia's name was Georgia A. She's also listed in 1900 census as Annie married to Sid. Sid being short for Thomas Sidney Pennington. Does anyone know if this Bennie is Ben or Benjamin Franklin who married a Naomi R. Cook 1924 in Dallas? The Bennie from this family is who I am searching for. Possibly my great-grandfather, Thomas Sidney Pennington being my g-g-grandfather. Any help/reply would be appreciated.
