    2. I have already answered Cindy privately but thought of something else that I thought might be of interest to the list. We all know that there are indexes for birth and death records that can be seen at your local library or ordered for interlibrary loan. I have looked these indexes over several times for certain people knowing they died in Harrison Co. and not able to find them in the index. Even have a contact that will look up names and tell me if they are there in the index. Last week I went to Marshall and asked the lady to look for two names, one I knew was indexed and the for another who was never found in the index. Guess what...he was there as was the one indexed. I guess you all know by now that the indexes are done by humans and names will be missed or mispelled. Just thought I would pass this on. Most of the counties will do a search and tell you they are there and some want to charge money to look and then if the death or birth certificate is there, then you will have to pay for that....the search amount is added to included in the certificate cost. Well later list mates...good luck and good hunting in your researches...John Lowery Harrison Co, TX surnames----WILSON and FRIED
