The Dept. of Vital Records was "Unable to locate" some items, and I was wondering if anyone could give me any clues on a follow up with them. They are as follows: 1. a Birth Cert. from Harrison Co , the person was born in 1915 and born in Harleton. They claimed that they found no record of his birth on file. Checking the Harrison Co., County Clerk's office provided no information as to a delayed B.C.. 2. a B.C. from Montague Co., TX , the person was born in 1916 and supposedly, the Court House burned, records and all. and 3. a Death Cert. from Montague Co., TX , the person died in 1903. They claimed to check the Delayed Birth Certificate files, and no luck on 1 or 2. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help, Cindy S. Pruitt lpruitt@maxinet.com
