Dear Morris, I am not a descendant of Dan McFarland. However, I am related distantly, and have done research on the Koon-Shaddock families, and have done a "book" on those families and their relationships. There is a family portrait of, I believe, John Jacob KOON and his mother, wife and children. I believe his wife was Jennie McFarland, dau of Dan?
