I think I shared with you the Texas State Library site for the Confederate Pension Records a few weeks ago, and I just discovered info about Texas County Tax Rolls http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/lobby/genfirst.htm It seems they are available from the organization date of the county through 1901. Loans are limited to five rolls per person. Requests should be made on an ALA Interlibrary Loan Form and must include county and years required.
