What, no cream peas and cornbread in California?! Well, at least there's coffee :) Anybody else have favorite East Texas foods? Blackberry cobbler? Buttermilk pie? (Sorry, Jan.) I think it's just quiet because everybody (in Texas anyway) is just too hot to think. Even so, this is a really good time for listmembers to share their lines - several new people have joined recently, so jump right in and throw out some surnames. You never know when you might find a cousin. I know the folks at the research library will be glad to have your family file - in fact, I'd recommend that people do that wherever they research. It's like leaving a little trail of crumbs for a cousin to follow. And your help with Noonday cemetery is certainly appreciated, too.
