    3. What, no cream peas and cornbread in California?! Well, at least there's coffee :) Anybody else have favorite East Texas foods? Blackberry cobbler? Buttermilk pie? (Sorry, Jan.) I think it's just quiet because everybody (in Texas anyway) is just too hot to think. Even so, this is a really good time for listmembers to share their lines - several new people have joined recently, so jump right in and throw out some surnames. You never know when you might find a cousin. I know the folks at the research library will be glad to have your family file - in fact, I'd recommend that people do that wherever they research. It's like leaving a little trail of crumbs for a cousin to follow. And your help with Noonday cemetery is certainly appreciated, too. Right now, I'd be most happy to trade you some cream peas and cornbread for some of that wonderful California weather!
