Dear Fellow Harrison County Researchers, Just had my 3rd cup of coffee this morning and was thinking that I haven't received a single message in a couple of weeks. Just wanted to make sure I was still subscribed and that you all haven't melted in the heat. Working on putting together a family file for the Historical Library at Marshall, just waiting on some land documents from the state and military information from D. C. and they should be ready to send to Jim. Have anyone else sent them information? Getting the Noonday Cemetery information into the system this morning and wishing I had Cream and Purple Hull peas out here in California. Had 4 meals of them while visiting East Texas last month. Yum, you haven't lived until you've had a meal of cream peas, fresh sliced tomatoes, creamed new potatoes, fried okra, and of course East Texas Cornbread! (Can you tell I am home sick already!) Got to get back to the coffee pot.
