I work for USGS in Austin, and this is the most frequently asked question our Information Officer receives. I think the best source is: http://mapping.usgs.gov/ Click on the link "How to find and order USGS Topographic maps" Then, click on "Map Dealers" This takes you to a map of the US where you can click on any state and get a list of the current map dealers. Our office does not sell maps. National Mapping is a division of USGS, and getting this information out to the public is a daily effort. Thanks again for sending this information.
