NC? but was in Pike Co. Ga. when he married Elizabeth Coates on Dec. 31, 1848. Had one child that I could find and his name was Benjamin Franklin Maples b. 1849 Georgia. I think that Nathan married a woman by the name of Cynthia Littleton in 1856. I don't know what happen to his parents but I found him in 1870 Uvalde, Texas married to Serilda Jane Cox, daughter of William Cox Jr. and Letitia Larrison Cox.
