Looking for info on WYATT and SCONCE and families, probably residing Hamilton Co. after 1850 and before 1890. Here's what I have: ELIJAH WYATT, b. about 1788, Va., m. NANCY STEWARD. Elijah and family lived Tenn., then to Tx about 1838, probably residing in Harrison and Rusk Counties. Elijah apparently died in the 1860's, but I don't know when or where or whether he lived or died in Hamilton Co. I have nothing about Nancy Steward or any other spouse for Elijah. I rec'd a report of a marriage between an Elijah Wyatt and Nancy Wyatt October 27, 1810, Middlesex Va. I don't think this is our Elijah, but I don't know how to check it out. Children of Elijah Wyatt, all born Tenn., include Matilda b: Abt 1808 Sarah b: 1810 A daughter Robert b: 1817 Minerva b: 1822 Washington b: 1825 William H. b: 1827 Edward Jaspar Wyatt (see below) EDWARD JASPAR WYATT, b. June 19, 1831 Tenn, d. May 8, 1899, Sutton Co. Tx. On April 16, 1854, Panola Co. Tx, EDWARD JASPAR WYATT m. CATHERINE VIRGINIA SCONCE, b. Dec. 21, 1834, Cumberland Co. Ky., d. Dec. 12, 1889,Kimble Co., Tx After Elijah's death, Edward Jaspar and family resided Hamilton Co. then Sutton Co. Other possible children of Elijah: Joseph b: Abt 1833, Thomas J. b: Abt 1846 in Tx, Elijah b: Abt 1848. Or possibly just in same household. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
