I have looked high and low and can't find my notes about it. The only place I can remember is College Station. Are there any other suggestions or volunteers to help set up a location? I would be willing to host it here in Lancaster again. Our library now has a wireless system and 10 laptops that we could use for training if we want to do that. The main problem with Lancaster is that there are not any good hotels/motels close to the library, so you might have to travel 10 or 15 miles to the hotel. However we are reasonably close to the regional archives in Fort Worth, the Dallas Library, and Hillsboro's Civil War Library. > > As far as dates: April 15th is Easter Weekend. April 29th is at the end of the Texas Library Association. I would recommend Saturday April 22nd but the 8th or 1st would be okay too. Anyone have a desire for a particular weekend or wish to avoid a particular weekend? > > I have discussed the meeting with several speakers that are interested in coming and will let you know more about that after we have a set time and place. One of the things that was mentioned at the last meeting was that everyone would like to have some genealogy classes as well as the web design helps. If you have a particular interest, please let me know what you would like or need to learn. Those of you who are mentors may especially have an insight into what classes are needed. > > Lela >
