I knnow there is a connection and that this picture is one of my cousins because I have a KARL HALM, (born Jan. 2, 1841, in Renrod, Nassau, Germany, s/o of Johann Halm and Margaret MACK) who married an AUGUSTE HEIDEKAMP (d/o Heinrich & Magdalene Heidekamp). Karl HAlm and Auguste Heidekamp had a daughter named HELENE HALM, born Jan. 22, 1873 in Renrod, Nassau, Germany. Helene married on Sept. 17, 1892, my g-grand uncle, HERMANN RIEFKOHL, (born June 17, 1863 in New Braunfels, Comal Co., TX) -- s/o Karl August RIEFKOHL & Marie SCHIMMELPFENNING.-- who are my gg-grandparents. I would love to find the negatives of this Karl HALM's studio and validate the relationship. I will be happy to forward a copy of this photo to anyone who asks. Thanks for your help. Cheryl
