    2. I believe this to be the Somerford Cemetery that Wynell asked about. It is listed as the Walker-Cox-Somerford Cemetery in the Grimes County Cemetery book. Directions: Turn off Hwy. 6 south of Navasota onto County Road 317. At end of road, there are two gates. Go through gate on right (land owned by Boy Scouts). Follow fence line on left going east. Pass another intersecting fence on left. Continue to sight "To Cemetery" on left. Turn and follow overgrown road due north to cemetery that is enclosed in wire fence with gate.
