My grandmother was Ellan Slatter, and this is a subject that continues to fascinate me. I came across Narcissa's name on "The Handbook of Texas Online". This is an extremely valuable tool for Texas History lovers. The entry is under her husband, John Goodloe Warren Pierson, who had a big hand in Texas history's beginnings.
