He can be found in the 1880 census for Stephens Co., TX where he lives with his wife Ellen Ayers, next door to her parents Solomon and Martha. The Ayers were previously in Grimes Co., don't know why they went to Stephens Co., but did move back to Grimes Co. I also have lost track of George and Ellen Knight , but family lore says they may have moved to Waco, TX. I have never found them after 1880. Is this any help?
