Hello Grimes List -- We're looking for family origins of Mary "Mollie" Thomas WHITFIELD, who according to family lore married Jonathan D'Arnold TEAGUE in Plantersville 13 December 1883, and their first son Clem Boyd Teague was also born in Plantersville in 1884. According to Mollie's death certificate, her father was Jno Whitfield, and they were from Kentucky. Since J D Teague was from Alabama, we're guessing that both families had relocated to Texas (Plantersville?) where the couple met and married. Noticed mention of the Plantersville Cemetery in a posting today, and wonder if there might be an index of burials to help us check on whether Jno Whitfield, although we know it's not at the Grimes GenWeb site.
