    3. Ann There was a Grimes County Historical book published about 1881 that has a story on Roans Prairie. Also has write up of many Grimes County Families. Lot of good helpful data in it. I know some folks are sorry they did not enter their family history. That is so sad. Copy is in the Navasota Library. There is still a few for sale from Grimes County Historical Society. Believe they are $100. Maurine
