Dr. Richardson: This will be "grabbing at straws" but have to ask you if you have the RINGGOLD line in your family. James Wright Ringgold married Susan Ann R. Gardiner in Montgomery Co., AL, 1835 and moved to the Republic of Texas in 1837. They came from Washington to Grimes Co,Tx. I have not been successful in tracing the family of Susan A. Gardiner. I only know she was born in Wake Co., N.C. and she reported to the census taker that her mother was born in Pa. and father born in N. Y. Would your Gardners match with the family mentioned above? Shall appreciate any information.
