TURNER who was born in Tenn. in 1876. He arrived in N. Tx. about 1880 with his grandmother named Mary A.M. RAINS, and several uncles named RAINS. He had at least two children named John TURNER who married Irene (they last lived in Ft. Worth about 1983), and Nettie TURNER who married a BINGHAM (she last lived in Navasota about 1983). Edward died in Navasota in 1955 and is burried in Oakland Cemetery.
