Am hoping someone can help with this brick wall! Una Merilda STUCKEY b. ca 1853 TX resided Grimes Co, m. John Madison ABELL 1872 Brazos Co. By 1880 they were living in Collin Co, where Una died 1882 giving birth. Evidently there were still relatives in Grimes Co as daughters Ella Jane and Willie Lee ABELL married in Grimes Co. in 1890's, Ella Jane to a Jim BIRCH, and Willie Lee to Hugh BYRNES. Am desparately seeking parents and other data on Una Merilda STUCKEY. Oral history is that she called George HAMMONDS brother, perhaps her mother was married twice.
