Sandy, I think you mean Iola, TX that is located in Grimes County. My grandmother was a Cobb. Her name was Mary Emma Cobb Midkiff. Her father was Jabez York Cobb and her mother was Georgiann Raley. Do you think this is the line you are researching? They were actually in Brazos County which is next to Grimes. My grandmother lived in Grimes after she married.
