I am grateful for the recent post of Yellow Fever Victims. I found "Mrs. Ringgold" who died Nov. 01, 1867. I had suspected that both Richard Ringgold and his wife, Frances "Fanny" Isabel Ringgold died of the fever about that time because of a document in Butler Co., AL in 1869 stating that Richard Ringgold had died, leaving no widow. Even though a given name was not written by Dr. Kilpatrick, I feel sure that this is 'fanny' because there was not another Mrs. Ringgold in Grimes Co. at the time. She was 81 years of age.
