He married Clara Shannon after the Civil War though they had probably lived as husband and wife for many years. The Fagans had some sort of relationship to the McIntrye Plantation--probably slaves att. to that family--or servants. Jefferson Fagan and his family migrated to Parsons, Kansas. They were related via marriage to Bowen and Venter families of Grimes County. Any information on Fagans appreciated.
