I am seeking information on a Levi Washington Freeman who served in the 1st Texas Cavalry during the Civil War and later became a farmer in Iola, TX following the war. He was reportedly from Pennsylvania originally and had lived in Cedartown, GA, before moving to Texas. I would like to know who his wife was, his children, and where he is buried. He reportedly died in Grimes Co. Also, I'm seeking information on Ollie Freeman who lived in Iola in the 1920's and 1930's. Ollie Freeman is listed as a surviving child of Mary Francis Freeman of Bell Co. in her obituary of Sept. 22, 1930.
