We had believed he was born in Lavaca County, but his WW1 Draft Registration from San Saba County, TX lists that he was born in Grimes County. His parents were John Sidney Templeton and Sarah Frances (Francis) King. He had at least 2 siblings, Effie Lee Templeton born 1889 in De Witt County, Texas, and E Robert Templeton, born in 1894 in Texas. I have little other information on John or Sarah except that both were born in Texas, and Sarah F King was born between 1842 and 1845 according to 1930 Census Stonewall County, Texas. ( I can't tell if it says she was 85 or 88 years.) I also do not know if Sidney had any older siblings.
