GA 1821), who was a physician in the Grimes/Walker TX area from the mid-1850s to at least 1870. Benjamin had a brother, Julius C. Ward (b. GA ca. 1825), who taught school near Huntsville TX in 1870, and a mother, Rebecca (Askew) Ward b. GA (b. GA ca. 1803), who resided with Benjamin in 1870. Benjamin, for a time, was married to Sarah Ann Laura REED (b. LA ca. 1831] .. These folks are easy to find thru 1870, but then they seem to disappear.
