I am part of the William Taylor, Sr/Elizabeth Townsend Taylor family who moved to GRIMES COUNTY from East Allington, Devonshire, England in 1849. Several children came over and include Robert, James Henry, Mary Jane, Elizabeth Ann, John Townsend, and William, Jr. William Taylor remarried after Elizabeth died in 1858 to a Margaret A. RASCO Tillery and had Salie, Mahala, and Joe. I know little about those children. Mahala buried at Taylor Island in GRIMES COUNTY. Let me know. I've got a litle more info
