This is very interesting! Some of my information through the Mormon sight at www.familysearch.org. I have only seen Maranda Blume's name spelled this way without the el. If you go to that sight you can find W.T. Worsham at # AFN:22MD-90C. Tennessee is # AFN:22MD-91K. I think I may have used the custom search so I could use the numbers. Here is what I have for my grandfather's siblings: 1)Mary Leal B.10-24-1887 near Belton TX in Bell Cnty (Married to a man named Bill Josey) 2)William Walter B. 10-?-1888 same place 3)Ruble Harrison B.1-13-1890 same place (Married to Lira) 4)Henry Plummer B.7-18-1892 same place (Married to Esther Marie Miller on 10-19-1918)This is my grandfather. D.4-18-1982 Had 1 son - Marion Walter Worsham 7-25-1919 to 3-14-1997. 5)Joseph Luster B.3-13-1894 (Married Orella (Lady Bug) Gregg 6)Richard Russell B.5-16-1895 (Married Marie Stehlik) 7)Christopher Albert B.10-31-1896 D.4-24-93 in Tomball, TX (Married to Clara who was his 2nd wife) Francis Blume 1)James Frank B.9-21-1898 probably in Kurten TX in Brazos County (Married to Maudell Hudson??) 2)Little Brother Worsham B.1900 died at 4 days premature 3)Tennie May B.6-29-1901 (Married Harland Miller who is my grandmother Esther Miller's brother) 4)Delanie (Dee) B.7-8-1903 (Married to Boyd Elmore) 5)Elizabeth (Bessie) B. ? I will try and find out about how William & Tennessee died. My grandfather always loved his Aunt Fannie(sp?) very much. He did not know where his mother was buried as he was a boy when she died. He looked for a while for the place and has his sisters looking too, but not able to find it. They think it must be on a private farm. He always wanted to know where she was buried. I heard a couple of stories of how she died. One of them being she had thyphoid and I can't recall the others right now. I also read that William Thomas killed his brother in Louisiana and had to move to Texas in 1875. He enlisted at Camp Moore in LA. on 3-29-1862 for 2 years in C. A 27th Louisiana infantry. I got this from the Worsham/Washam Family Book Review. The web page is:www.geocities.com/Heartland/Valley/1360/page13.html Do you know this site? I think I am supposed to mention East Feliciana Lousiana for cross reference.Anyway, thanks for responding. I hope that I was of just a little help. I am adding what you gave me to my records. Thanks ! Judy

What I have is below along with what I have on the other children. My husband descended from their daughter Lizzie Worsham who married John J. COLSON. I do not know what day Tennessee Rogillio WORSHAM died but I do believe that William T. WORSHAM died on 12 Feb 1923. This was the date given by John J. COLSON in an affidavit pertaining to mortuary costs and the doctor of record also said he died 12 Feb 1923. This was found in his CW pension file. However, I believe his tombstone says he died 3 March 1922! I assume that Tennessee died before this. I also have a notation of a possible second marriage for William T. 3. Posted on: Grimes Co. Tx Queries Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Grimes?read=95 Surname: Worsham ------------------------- William Thomas and Tennessee had 8 children. The only one I know anything about is William Henry which was my grandfather's father. William Henry was born in 1865 died on Sept. 10 1924. William Henry married sisters - Miranda Jane Blume-born about 1866(my grandfather's mother)who died in 1895. They had 7 children. When Miranda died, he married her sister,Francis Christine Blume Goodman - born Sept/Oct 1975 They had 8 children plus one from Francis' previous marriage to Solomon Goodman who died in an accident."Aunt Fanny" died at age 99 in 1975. One of the later 8 children was premature and died a 4 day old infant boy. The first time William Henry was married was about 1887 or early 1888. The second time was in 1897. Since William Henry Worsham was born in Lousiana I would assume that it was in East Feliciana Parish as well. I did come across an odd bit of information. I read that William Thomas and Tennessee both died on Feb. 2, 1922 in Grimes County Texas. Do you have any info about this? Thank ! Judy Clark

Tx Queries Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Grimes?read=93 Surname: STOKELY ------------------------- Looking for information on descendants of William Allen STOKELY and Martha C.(Jones) STOKELY. William Allen moved to Grimes County, Texas by late 1866 from Washington County, Alabama following the War Between the States. William served in Co. G, 32nd Alabama Infantry, CSA during the war. His father, John Harvey STOKELY and his wife Sarah Elizabeth (Blount) STOKELY also moved to Grimes County about this time, also from Alabama. William Allen and Martha had six children, Samuel, Joseph A., Nancy E., William E., Eula Lee., and Felix. All of these except Samuel were born in Grimes county. I believe that both William Allen and his wife Martha died in Grimes County but I do not know what year. Any information on individuals and/or descendants would be appreciated.
