The Celtic Heritage Society of East Texas will meet Tuesday, October 21, at 7:00 PM at the Family Life Center of Oakland Heights Baptist Church. 1607 Judson Road at Eden Drive, Longview. Across the street from the Church. Visitors are always welcome. Our October meeting is a very special one. We are having a Ceilidh (pronounced Kay-lee). A Ceilidh is a Celtic gathering where everyone gets a chance to entertain. We will begin our meeting in the Den (room just past our regular room). Matt Lewis and Dee Diedering will lead us with guitar and piano in a sing-a-long. Rick Zurfluh will play the pipes and Frank Grainger will tell us a scary story. If you play or sing, come prepared to present your talent to the group or join in the "jam." If you have a Celtic tale or can tell us the story of how your family came to the USA, please share that with us. Please come in Celtic attire if possible to add to the party atmosphere.
