Surnames: Davis, Reese Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/IiB.2ACE/746 Message Board Post: I am looking for a Joseph "Joe" DAVIS born 01 May 1882 in Longview, Gregg Co., TX to William Henry DAVIS and Amanda Elizabeth REESE. Joseph was last seen circa 1918 in Longview, TX visiting in the home of his brother Thomas Davis. Many attempts by Thomas trying to locate the whereabouts of his brother Joe proved unsuccessfull. I did find in SSDI a Joseph Davis born 01 May 1882 and died Oct 1962, last benefit paid in Oregon. State issued was Washington. I have since found that this Joseph Davis died in Polk Co., Oregon. I have no idea if this Joseph Davis is the same Joseph Davis that has been missing in our Davis family for so many years.. Any information on the Joseph Davis that died in 1962 Polk Co., Oregon would be appreciated. If you know what happened to our Joseph Davis I would be grateful. Renee Smelley IRSmelley2@aol.com
