Burial will follow in Lakewood Cemetery in Henderson. Mr Jones died early Saturday morning at a Kilgore hospital following a brief illness. A resident of Kilgore 35 years, he was a Summerville, Mo native, retired oil field worker, member of the Mormon Church and member of Danville Masonic Lodge No 101. He also served in the United States Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife,, Elma; his stepmother, Mrs Cora Jones of Oilton, Okla; a stepson, C J Musgrove of Phoenix, Ariz; two foster sons, Ray Gibson of San Diego, Calif and Bobby Gibson of Texarkana; three brothers, J J of Lolita, Bill and Everett, both of Yale, Okla; two sisters, Mrs Lucy Frills of Yale, Okla and Mrs Cleo Daniels of Victoria.
