Surnames: Willingham- Fortson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/IiB.2ACE/817 Message Board Post: My great grandparents lived and died in Gregg Co.Tx.; ie.1909 and 1940. I find no record of either death in county or state records. Is this fairly normal for the times above? Without cemetery headstones, I would have little proof of their lives and deaths. Would it now be possible to have these deaths recorded with cemetery photo proof or possibly probate records ? Has anyone else had these questions?
