Research in the Dallas Public Library Lloyd de Wit Bockstruck is the supervisor of the Genealogy Section of the Dallas Public Library and his column "Family Tree" appears weekly in the Dallas Morning News. He is a frequent lecturer at local, state and national genealogical societies. He is a member of numerous lineage and genealogical societies. He is a faculty member of several genealogical institutions and is a fellow of the National Genealogical Society. He has received numerous awards and honors including the NGS Filby Award for Outstanding Genealogical Librarian.
