He was a sheriff in Longview, Texas back in the late 1800's. I have heard that there were some "wrong doings" that were done to people during those days. I am trying to find the persons or parties who dealt with land regarding 366.7 acres of land in Gregg County. Any assistance as far as deeds, quitclaim deeds, leases, etc. would be greatly appreciated. We need to settle some issues once and for all. Thanks!
